WE NEEDLESSLY CARRY AROUND A LOT OF BAGGAGE THAT WEIGHS US DOWN
WORRY…
The past…what we ourselves have done or not done or what others may have done or failed to do...
Unforgiveness…
Bitterness…
Nobody cares…
God wouldn’t ever forgive me for what I have done…
I knew Him once and served Him and was active in leadership in my church but there is no way that God would forgive me for leaving Him even though why I left church was because of the people and problems and hurt some people caused me…but I also left God when I left the church – HE doesn’t want anything to do with me now – He cant trust me and wont forgive me…I just know it and I am afraid to even go there again with God....
Nobody likes me…
I am afraid…
I am all alone…
I am nothing…
I am useless…
I ‘m lost without God but I cant be who He wants me to be…

God’s Seven Symbolic Ways of Caring
As a Mother
Isaiah 66:13 As one whom his mother comforts, So I will comfort you; And you shall be comforted (in Jerusalem.) (NKJV)
As a Father
Psalms 103:13 As a father loves and pities his children, so the Lord loves and pities those who fear Him [with reverence, worship, and awe] (Amplified Bible)
As a Nurse
1 Thessalonians 2:7 But we behaved gently when we were among you, like a devoted mother nursing and cherishing her own children. (Amplified Bible)
As a Shepherd
Ezekiel 34:12 As a shepherd seeks out his sheep in the day that he is among his flock that are scattered, so will I seek out My sheep; and I will rescue them out of all places where they have been scattered in the day of clouds and thick darkness. (Amplified Bible)
As a Hen - HE Shelters
Matthew 23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, murdering the prophets and stoning those who are sent to you! How often would I have gathered your children together as a mother fowl gathers her brood under her wings, and you refused!
As an Eagle- He Protects
Deuteronomy 32:11 As an eagle that stirs up her nest, that flutters over her young, He spread abroad His wings and He took them, He bore them on His pinions. [also see Luke 13:34.]
Luke 13:34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who continue to kill the prophets and to stone those who are sent to you! How often I have desired and yearned to gather your children together [around Me], as a hen [gathers] her young under her wings, but you would not! (Amplified Bible)
As a Bridegroom rejoiceth
Isaiah 62:5 For as a young man marries a virgin [O Jerusalem], so shall your sons marry you; and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you.
(Amplified Bible)
CAST ALL YOUR CARES...
Worry is a lot like a rocking chair. It won’t get you anywhere, but it sure will keep you busy.
What a comforting truth to know that God cares for us and that He will perfect the things that concern us.
